So fast one!

Wah..........lu manyak cepatlah!

I read with amusement as to how cekap the POLIS were in grilling Datuk CSL for allegedly making some sensitive remarks on the "Ketuanan Melayu" issue. Wah..... so efficient lah you fellas. Wah some more I hear you people need to interview him for 40 minutes. Wah so good lah you boys! Just because some fellow out there make report on this "sensitive" issue you boys in blue jump and run to investigate.
Anyway...The point I am making is this ..... the "ketuanan Melayu" term is not used anywhere in the Federal Constitution. I acknowledge the fact that there are some special rights for the Malays and the Bumiputras of Sabah and Sarawak accorded in the Federal Constitution. There are some special rights as to the Malay Royalty and the religion. I think no one is questioning those rights now. It is part of the constitution and we have to respect those provisions.
But what is this "Ketuanan Melayu " ? Where is it stated in the law of the land that there is this "tuan" concept ? I don't like this term at all. It implies that there is a master and slave relationship between the races in Malaysia. It is terms like these that contribute to racial polarisation between the various races in Malaysia.
I feel sad that after 50 years of independence there are still some of us who still harbour such ridicilously antiquated views. Sad!

I dont know Hang Tuah.....I say change will come. Maybe a little slow but..... it will come. But it takes all of us to make the change.

I know its frustrating but we all must keep working towards it. Slowly but surely.

As Confucious said " A journey of a thousand miles start with a single step".

Comes to think about it.. actually most of the rakyat are leaving peacefully, respecting each other and each culture has been slowly mixing well. You can see Malay eating yong tow foo, chee cheong fun, chinese eating raw petai, ulam, while Indian roti canai and banana leaf is favorite for all the races. You can see all races sitting and sharing seats at the mamak stalls without even care you are chinese, indian or malay.

BUT, very UNFORTUNATELY, all this politician aka assholes keep reminding all of us that we are chinese, you are indian, he is malay. And no one should question their ketuan, their special privilage and etc etc etc...

NOW we have one old man and one young punk (Bapak borek, anak rintik) fler coming out and start saying changing education system.. to a certain extend, i agree education system play some part in perpaduan but HELLO BROTHER, this is only a very tiny tiny little part if you really want to promote PERPADUAN... mangkuk.

What is perpaduan? it means all united together and living peacefullly like how fairy tale story or your cerita donggeng normally do.. if you really want Perpaduan, first criteria (rule of thumb) is same rules apply to semua sekali..

How you expect people to unite while i buy house, i got to pay higher than the fler sitting next to me because he has special treatments while you want me to unite with him and tanggung kesusahan during bad time?

How to unite when i list my company in Bursa but i need to have 30% given to some flers who just sitting there goyang kaki while i have been working my ass off?

How to unite when i need to pay for private university fees just because QUOTA habis for us while the guy sitting next to us got FULL SCHOLARSHIP to local U or overseas U even though his family is rich.. Best thing is when he comes back, he bayar dua bulan than stop because it is BAPAK punya.

How to unite where i m a malaysian but whenever i fill up form in my own country, they ask me BUMI or NON BUMI? APA ini?

IF you ppl ada sikit otak, go think about BIG MACRO factors rather than go drilling into small little MICRO factor like education, national service, rakan muda... We should not even border to argue with that 2 flers on this subjects as it really singing to their tune and helping him on his election.. BUT i must say i salute him, his tricks WORKED and WORKED WELL...

ABANG ABANG SEKELIAN, IF you guys really wanted to solve this thing, try to think from our point of view, think what would u feel if you are chinese or indian or other minority. it will help Abang.

we will continue arguing this matter forever, trust me..

Last before i go, i would like to pay my respect and salute Sultan of Selangor for stopping giving away the DATUKSHIP easily.. wise move and it will help making sure those ppl foot stay on the ground.. I hope the rest of the state should follow this and there wont be another DATUK AMITHA BACHAN, DATUK JET LI or DATUK KRYISS DAYANTI...

To all those MUSLIM frens, wishing you guys SELAMAT HARIRAYA HAJI...

I agree that the average samy, ali and chong dont have any problems with one another. sadly time and again it is the politicians that continue to screw us up....
