Double standards yet again!

Sorry I cant hear! Sorry I cant see! Sorry I cant speak!
The events at the Brickfields police station yesterday illustrates the true meaning of the words "double standards". Funny how if you are from a certain group/race then you are free to roam the streets and shout yourselves hoarse. Never mind the fact that you happen to incite violence or even advocate physical harm to achieve your ambitions. Even when some in this country go lodge police reports numbering more than a hundred against a certain member of Parliament the boys in blue are happy to oblige and record them down.
But if you are aligned to some other group/race then there is this perceived bias in the actions of the boys in blue. Just see what happened to some of the people who wanted to lodge police reports calling for proper medical treatment for ISA detainee Uthayakumar. The crowds reportedly numbering a few hundred were dispersed with water cannons and some were even arrested! If this does not say DOUBLE STANDARDS then I don't know what does.
Those thugs from UMNO youth that accosted and abused Karpal Singh at Parliament are still free to walk the streets. The police have even been accused of not affording Mr Karpal any assistance. Mr Khairy and his gang had demonstrated in Ipoh recently inciting violence but strangely none were arrested nor sprayed with water canons . Then there is that clown i.e the former MB from Selangor . Didn't he and his gang demonstrate and walk the streets of Penang recently ? How many were arrested and charged or even sprayed by water cannons ? Yup you guessed right...NONE! Why ah ? Why ah? Why ah?
Why the double standards ?

Thugs running loose in Parliament!

It is confirmed now. We are officially a lawless nation!

It is most disgusting to read and see the pictures of how some so called "champions of the rakyat" had confronted Mr Karpal Singh at the Parliament lobby. It is just disgusting to note that the sacred grounds of the August house had been used by thugs to intimidate an old man in his wheelchair! You UMNO youth goons should be embarrassed of yourselves! Have you goons lost all sense of shame and decency or is it that you monkeys are incapable of behaving in a decent and civilised manner ?
We can always agree to disagree on many issues and we may even argue our voices hoarse at the appropriate time and more importantly at the appropriate places. What you goons had done at the August house had defiled the very institution that symbolises the hallmark of democracy in this country. What you goons had done is akin to treason to the very notion of upholding the rule of law.
Mr Karpal Singh was even reported to have said that the police and the security personnel present did not afford him any assistance ! Is this true ? Does this mean that the security personnel were tacitly approving the thuggery ? Or were there orders from anywhere to not interfere ? Whatever it is, this latest incident clearly amplifies the urgent need for reforms to this wonderful nation. If this can happen at the lobby of Parliament house, what else may happen in the future ?
Just so sad.

Exasperated!

Aiyoh! Not you fellas too....What's with you guys ?

I am shocked. I thought it was just the boys in blue. Well it appears now that it is contagious. The MACC has gotten into the act now. Just when I thought these chaps would be more cautious and professional after all the advice given by the PM himself.....but nope they just had to do it! They just had to ignore the law.

If you don't know what I am talking about..well it is about the MACC "questioning" the Perak Speaker for THREE HOURS! I dare say this tantamount to gross abuse of the powers vested in the MACC. They shouldn't be questioning the Speaker over his conduct and actions as Speaker of the DUN Perak. Period! That is the law! If the powers that be have their way, I am sure the Speaker will be questioned by Jabatan Bomba next! Who knows...Maybe for failing to ensure there are enough fire extinguishers in the House?

Just compare the news item about the Speaker and compare the report given by the learned Prime Minister regarding the MACC investigations into the VK LIngam tapes. He said there were four investigation papers and three has been listed as "no further action" whilst the last is still being investigated by the MACC! Just in case you had forgotten this issue was raised a very long time now. Even before the general elections! Best part is this......all the mainstream papers had only carried very muted reports on this matter. Arghhhhhh.....

Then there is this news report in "Malaysiakini" where it states that the toll rates on certain highways are going up on Sunday! Oh dear! The Works Minister is reported to have said this"Dalam kenyataannya, Mohd Zin menyifatkan kenaikan kadar tol baru itu sebagai sangat kecil" What ? Sangat kecil ? The economy is going bust, people are losing jobs and prices of everyday goods are continuously rising and this moron says this! Sangat kecil?
You people still want to vote BN ?
Arghhhhhh...........!

Today it is the MACC that is in the news!

We are the MACC and we mean business!

Ha-ha! What a joke! The revamped or re branded ACA is now known as the MACC. The outgoing PM has told the MACC to be professional. Sadly his advice to the chaps at the MACC has gone unheeded. Those chaps are no professionals lah Sir!
I tell you why Sir .... Remember how the MACC responded when that UMNO frog jumped to PR in Perak recently ? What did the MACC do/say then ? They said they will investigate to see if any element of corruption was involved. But what happened next ? Remember how then the "frogs" jumping from PR to the BN ? Guess what ... the MACC then chose to keep quiet. I guess they must have lost their "teeth" or maybe they decided that it is only a possible crime when "frogs " jump from the BN to PR and not vice versa!
If you did not happen to read the "Sun" newspaper today 25-2-09.......go get a copy now. Read how Citizen Nades had taken the MACC to task for their selective prosecutions and general malaise that seem to affect its operations. Read also as to how the questionable expenses of one Minister was reported to the ACA three months ago with supporting documents and no action has been taken to date. Compare this case with the speed in the present Selangor MB's case! Read it and draw your own conclusions. Thank goodness there are good souls like Citizen Nades that keep the good fight going.
I end this post with a quote from the ACA's research and planning Director as quoted by Citizen Nades ." The ACA is not obliged to update complainants on the progress of investigations unless it receives an official letter seeking such information". What a joke!

The boys in blue are in the news again! ( 2 )

I got do work what! I catch bad people what! Speaker or not I also investigate what!

It is just absurd! Just yesterday I had written about how good the boys in blue are good at getting reported in the media for the wrong reasons. Well...looks like there is one more " feather in the cap" for our boys in blue.
Yup...... just when I thought the boys in blue will keep their noses clean for at least a week, nope they just had to do something very silly. Not only silly but in my humble opinion had contravened the laws of the nation! If you remember our beloved PM had instructed the "not so legitimate" MB of Perak to lodge a police report against the Speaker of the DUN Perak. Lo and presto after a series of reports lodged against the Speaker not only in Perak but the rest of the country our boys in blue have sprung into action! Wow! Talk about efficiency. Let me digress here a little. I had accompanied some people to lodge a police report against someone some months ago on a possible criminal act. To date the investigations have yet to be completed. Every time the police/IO makes an appointment to meet the complainants to further investigate the matter, strangely at the the very last moment the officer concerned will not be in the station. No answers are also given as to the whereabouts of the said officer. The officer concerned also will not respond to calls made to his mobile phone. Now that my friends I am told, are the norms when dealing with the police. At least, that is how the average Joe public views the police to be. Highly inefficient, cumbersome and highly corrupt even.
Fast forward to the Perak speaker's matter. See how efficient they are in this matter? Grilling the speaker for 2 hours ? What is the "crime" here that needs such an investigation ?
The best quip that I have heard all week is when the State Police Chief said "I wish to state very clearly that the police will continue to investigate into any matter arising. That is the job of the police and we will carry out our investigating responsibilities to best of our ability" Ha-ha-ha ! What a joke! You clowns need to look at the law and then be briefed very slowly and clearly as to what the word "immunity" means. I suggest you clowns also go buy a copy of the constitution, both for the state of Perak and the nation before you make further laughable comments like that in the future!
What can I say ? Funny things happen all the time in Bolehland I tell you !

The boys in blue are in the news again!

Yah man....I am the law! I am the law onto myself! You apa tanya ?

It is strange how the cops keep getting reported in the news for the wrong reasons time and again. Remember Kuhan ? Remember how restrained they are in "protecting public order" when certain clowns conduct demonstrations but certain others kena "tarok" real bad ? Remember how the Bandar Putri Mahkkota Cheras incident went ? Remember how some residents said the police were actually "looting" when the landslides happened at Bukit Antarabangsa ? Remember how the cops decided to arrest the newspaper reporter for "her own protection" ? Remember ?
Anyway the news regarding the boys in blue in the papers today again is not so "wangilah"! There is this story about how a baby had been raped and sodomised. The traumatised family of the child had lodged a police report regarding the crime. Guess what..... the family alleges that the investigating officer had been rude to them and had even insinuated that they could have hurt the child themselves! Amazing! To add insult to injury the City Police Chief had requested the family to lodge another police report, so that the allegation could also be investigated by the police! Just weird! You go lodge a complaint at the same authority that is being complained about! Simply defies logic. I say it is about time this country has the independent police commission to enquire into matters. Investigating one's own self is absurd. Period!
Then there is the other incident where the policemen escorting a remand prisoner being tried for a capital offence gets away whilst being in handcuffs! He is reported to have "pushed" the cops aside and then "cabut lari". The police manhunt initiated to hunt the escapee also could not track him down. Just amazing isn't it ? Suspicious even, I dare say!
I am not going to comment on the recent fatal shooting incident by the police in Kedah recently.... I think the facts speaks for themselves. Res Ipsa Loquitor!
The MACC is no better I think. According to reports, the investigations against the Selangor MB have been completed. What do they then do ? They publicly announce that there is prima facie evidence against the MB for corruption and said that prosecutions would be in order. These clowns are clearly beating the drums to the instructions and tune of their political masters! Why is it that until today all the investigations against the BN sharks have not been completed ? Even if completed the official version would be "not enough evidence" or "all is in order"! Simply amazing!
I guess to put it in a nutshell...."Malaysia Boleh"!

I am sick....so sick of the crap that is going on!

I am just so sick of the crap that is going on in the country!

I am sick of being told that it is the "will of the people" when I read the papers about how you BN slime balls wrested power from the PR. It is "democracy"what .....you clowns say these days . I am sick of hearing that word "derhaka". I am sick and tired of the same old morons calling themselves politicians, mouthing off their usual poison time and again. Just see how that "independent" MP Ibrahim Ali had behaved himself in Parliament a few days ago! Shameful I say. Why is this wonderful nation so infested with rabid and vile politicians till this day and age is an amazement to me.
The PM telling the "not so legitimate " MB of Perak to go lodge a police report against the speaker is just bewildering!Simply amazing at the heights of crap this PM is capable of in his last few days in office! What do you want the police to do ? Go and arrest the Speaker ? Remand him and then hope maybe he ends up like some other remand prisoners at the hands of the police ?Tell you what sir....Have you heard of the courts ? Maybe if you spend your time being awake, maybe you would realise that there is such an institution in this country. You BN monkeys are just not getting it, do you ? The people are fed up! The people are so sick of the shenanigans that you idiots are pulling off time and again. The "Derhaka" issue is so lame in my books. When you guys "derhaka" you guys lupa! Other people not remotely "derhaka" but you monkeys jump up and down shouting "derhaka" crying for blood! If I remember correctly you chaps in the BN under that incorrigible man Mahathir did more "derhaka" to the monarchy then all the PR blokes recently. The records speak for themselves man. Go check it up!
Tell you what guys , call lah for a general election in Perak if you really "jantan"! If you win then only can you say you have been chosen by the rakyat. Only then can you jump up and down and do your mouthing and frothing lawfully in the name of the Rakyat ! Otherwise just shut up!
So sick,

Gutter politics Malaysian style!

Malaysian politics in a bottle. !00% proof!
It is amazing the lengths some people will go to destroy other people's lives. Well in Malaysia it is truly Malaysia Boleh! The story regarding the Bukit Lanjan assemblywoman is sad. It clearly illustrates the kind of politics that Malaysians seem to be practising. Its terrible. Utter gutter politics I say !
By all accounts this particular assemblywoman was quite a dynamic and able representative of the people. I guess the poor lady had quite a few enemies as a result of being too efficient. The lowlife that circulated her nude pictures needs to be castrated I think. Look the lady was doing a good job and as a result of this nonsense she may end up resigning from all her posts. Sad! The end losers ? Yup, the Rakyat again!
All those who have been taking the moral high ground on this issue had better watch out. As the saying goes "what goes around comes around!" I am sure it is a matter of time before you will get a dose of what you have been dishing out. So you had better be careful.
But then again this is Malaysia where I have been informed that if you are a well connected politician you may get away with anything and everything ; heck even murder!
M V Nathan

I say man "double standards" kah ?

The restraint displayed by the boys in blue recently in the face of unlawful and illegal demonstrations is much to be admired. Its true. Just see how the boys in blue had handled the rowdy crowd that had gathered to deliver a memorandum to YB Karpal Singh. Good thing he was not at home at the time. Anyway, don't you just admire the cops for the restraint and patience in handling the crowd yesterday in Selangor where illegal demonstrators again had their demonstration? By the way the leader of the unruly crowd happens to be the morally bankrupt former MB of Selangor. Wait what about the time in Ipoh recently when that SIL of the soon to be ex PM had demonstrations and allegedly told the crowd "to use whatever means to stop the illegitimate MB from entering the state secretariat". What about the time when the crowd demonstrated in front of the Bar Council premises ? Well done boys in blue. You boys deserve a pat in the back for respecting the peoples' right under the Constitution regarding peaceful assemblies.
My only question is this. Why the double standards ? Why sometimes you boys practice a no restraint policy ? Why use the tear gas ? Why the water cannons ? Why the arrests ? Why the locking up of women and children ? Why ah ?
Oh right........You guys have standards. Double standards that is!

Our PM the "reporter"!

Wait ......I go report to the rulers! They must be briefed! I will only brief them on what has transpired and the reasons behind them!

Well it appears that our beloved PM who happens to be in his final days as PM has one very important task to fulfill before he vacates his premiership. No, no, no not to sort out the country and to get the economy working and all lah. He has a more important task. Didnt you guys read the papers today ? Well it appears that our PM has to go brief the Rulers as to the latest developments relating to the political situation in Perak! Hello......Mr PM ....you really nothing to do is it ? The Rulers already knowlah. They also got read newspaper and got watch TV. No need to go and "brief" them. They already know that you and your cohorts in the BN had robbed the people of their democratic right! They already know that you jokers had made a mockery of the democratic process here in Malaysia.
The Deputy PM or rather soon to be PM had this to say in Ipoh yesterday " The new BN government will be able to fulfill the needs and aspirations of the people in the state. We will cater to the needs of every race in the state. We are a government for all" Ha-ha!!! You also very funnylah Sir. You still got the cheek to say this ah? Wow! You are really something else. Why dont you go to Jelapang and tell the constituents there all this mumbo jumbo. I am sure they will make you feel very welcome!
Anyway people of Perak especially in Bukit Gantang....I think you guys owe it to this new BN government to show just how you feel about the political crisis in Perak. Remember the date 7/4/09!
Cheers,

Big bang to celebrate the occasion!

I just realised that in a matter of weeks we Malaysians may possibly have a new PM to administer the country! Wow ! Maybe we should have an "explosion" of a party to honour the ocasion!

No wonder fighting to be in the gomen!

Miow...I am thru licking my b****! Maybe I can start work now......maybe take nap firstlah!

Mr C thanks for the joke you sent me. I have reproduced it here for the benefit of all. I guess this explains why there is a mad scramble to get into a Gomen job! Ha-ha!!!!

A guy goes to a government department to apply for a job.The interviewer asks him, 'Are you allergic to anything?'He says, 'Yes - just caffeine.''Have you ever been in the service?''Yes,' he says, 'I was in Iraq for two years.'The interviewer says, 'That will give you 5 extra points toward employment,' and then asks, 'Are you disabled in any way?The guy says, 'Yes 100%...an IED exploded near me and blew my testicles off.'The interviewer tells the guy, 'O.K. In that case, I can hire you right now. Normal hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM. You can start tomorrow at 10:00 - and plan on starting at 10 AM every day.'The guy is puzzled and says, 'If the hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, why don't you want me to be here before 10 AM?'This is a Government job,' the interviewer says.'For the first two hours we just stand around drinking coffee and scratching our balls. No point in you coming in for that.
Cheers,

Crazy days ahead!

There are two MBs in Perak now! One "illegitimate" and the other "not so legitimate"!
How now ?

Well it appears that crazy days are ahead for the good citizens of Perak. I hear there are 2 MBs in Perak. The one by BN has to be escorted to work by the police and the other has to be escorted by the police not to work. Hmmmm... Malaysia ini macam-macam ada!
I think I like the answer by the new BN MB when asked by the press regarding the support from the majority of the people of Perak...."That is why we are here. You have to prove your worth" Ha-ha !!! This man funnylah. Hello tell lah people that you got "elected" because the other fella got the boot from "you know who". It gets better I tell you, when asked about him assuming the post not through elections, the agitated MB responded by saying this " You know what is democracy.....(this ) is a clear democratic process"! Ha-ha!!! This man really funnylah! Hello............... try telling that to the average Ali, Raju and Ah Chong on the street! The fact is this; Mr MB you are now the "not so legitimate" MB of perak because 2 PKR morons and 1 idiot from the DAP decided to betray the people whom had voted for them. Plain and simple. This is not about democracy and due process. It is about immoral politicians that continue to hoodwink the people. Period!
I am afraid I cant even say the "you know who". Wait that UMNO fellas will lodge police report against me and have demonstrations in front of my office. Wait the police also say "what can we do? democracy what ?"
Anyway the important thing now is for the people of Perak and elsewhere to remain calm. Cool heads are needed now. I hope the situation in Perak does not escalate into something more worrying. That is why I am of the firm opinion that HRH the Sultan ought to have called for fresh elections. This would have spared Malaysians and particularly Perakians the anguish and unnecessary drama.

Divine intervention ?

Divine intervention ? Hmmmmmmm...................

Time to show the will of the people!

All hail the new BN MB in Perak....hmmmm... he UMNO or MIC ?

It is sad to note that the political impasse in Perak does not seem to abating any time soon. I hear that Khairy Jamaludin, that UMNO youth chap, had held a demonstration in Perak yesterday against the "illegitimate MB and his councillors". He and his rabble rousers are said to have demonstrated at the Ipoh Padang and are said to be in the region of 1,000 members. Now if you tell me that our Mr SIL had applied for a police permit to hold the said demonstration I then say "cows can fly". In only truly Malaysian style the demonstrators were not hassled by the police. No tear gas needed and no arrests were reportedly have been made. I tell you why the nice treatment. No, no, no not because he is the SIL of the outgoing PM lah... The reason for the nice preferential treatment was because he was reported to have said " resort to whatever means necessary to prevent the illegitimate MB and his councillors from entering the State secretariat". Did he actually say "whatever means" ? I guess these UMNO youth thugs were there just to assist the police in keeping the peace. No harm what...
Anyway it was only a few days before the "independents" became heroes in the minds of the BN that the SIL was reported to have said that he was against party hopping and was even reported to have said that party hopping to be "immoral". I guess some people have short memories lah.
I actually blame PKR leader Anwar for the fiasco in Perak. Didn't he go round trying to get the BN clowns to abandon ship in the first place? Well Datuk Seri looks like you only talked about it but those BN clowns actually did it! Like it or not you have egg on your face now!I support Karpal on this issue and say that party hopping is immoral and tantamount to acts of betraying/cheating the people whom had voted; irrespective for or against! Period.
To the people of Perak there is a saving grace in this political mess. With the untimely death of the MP for Bukit Gantang there surely will be a by- election for the said seat. I say the outcome of the by - election for the said seat would be indicative of the mood of Perakians.

Frogs cause havoc in Perak!

PR no moneylah......I jump to BN. Better offer mah!

Sad times indeed for Perak. As I am typing this I cant help but feel as if some major crime has been committed in front of me and we the average Joe, Ah Seng and Ali cant do diddly squat about it! The party that was clearly rejected by the Rakyat is now back in charge to plunder, abuse and even rape the resources of Perak. Just drive along the PLUS highway near Ipoh and see how the hills have been stripped bare and remains ugly in the name of progress for the Rakyat in Perak. Those hills to me remind me what the BN government had done in the past and probably are going to be doing in the future.
I am sad that HRH the Sultan of Perak did not take steps to call for fresh elections to sort out the political problems created by sleazy, unscrupulous, immoral, spineless, gutless maggots conveniently calling themselves "independents" these days. These so called "independents" are now said to be BN friendly. They have caused for the BN to be able to claim the "confidence of the majority" in the state assembly. As I see it the state assembly is equally divided i.e. 28 each. As I see it also the 3 frogs that have turned the state into a joke all over the world should have no say in the state. If they now claim to be "independent then they should remain "independent". Therefore the only recourse to solve this political impasse would be to call for fresh elections. Let the rakyat once again choose who they want to lead the state. Let the Rakyat decide. We are after all a democracy last time I checked. Maybe the notion of Democracy is truly well and dead in Malaysia.
I agree with what Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh had to say about this political fiasco. He says" Governments are formed after citizens have expressed their choice through free and fair elections. Our Constitution specifies a formal process for the formation of a government. The Ruler is sworn to uphold and protect this constitutional process. He also adds that defections cannot form the basis for the formation of a government.
The jumping frogs in my book have committed an act of betrayal to the very people whom had voted for them. These frogs and people like them should not be allowed to thrive in the political landscape of Malaysia.
Dare we hope that HRH the Sultan of Perak will have a change of heart ?
Daulat Tuanku,

Day democracy died!

The official notice to the state exco

5-2-09 Day Democracy died in Perak!

I have just read the following excerpt from Malaysiakini "The office of the Sultan of Perak, in a statement, said that after meeting all the 28 BN assemblypersons and the three independents, the sultan was convinced that Mohd Nizar had ceased to command the confidence of the majority of the state assembly members."If YAB Datuk Seri Ir. Mohammad Nizar bin Jamaluddin does not resign his post as Perak menteri besar together with the members of the state executive council, the posts of menteri besar and state executive councillors are considered vacant," the statement said.

If the above excerpt is verified to be true then I can say for sure that "Democracy " is truly well and dead in Perak. Sad day for Malaysians! I mourn the death of democracy in Perak. By defections and and party hopping the will of the people has been defeated. All the people responsible for this " death" should be ashamed of yourselves!May "God" have mercy on your souls!

Sad, Sad, Sad!

Despicable Maggots!

Certain politicians are nothing more than despicable maggots......hmmm.... maybe I am being a bit too harsh on the maggots here. Maggots have a role to play in nature. These politicians are nothing but pure scum !

The political upheaval in Perak state defies all logic. Clearly the wise people of Perak had decided that they had wanted an alternative government in charge of the state. Well it appears that less than a year into the alternative government's charge, all hell breaks loose! The people chosen by the rakyat to be their representative have now committed nothing less than an act of betrayal or even treason I dare say. To now publicly say that they are no longer with the current administration is an act of betrayal to the people of Perak. These people during the recent General elections had campaigned against the BN and had been voted in on the PR ticket. It is therefore ridiculous for these maggots to now publicly declare themselves to be "independents". It is also amazing to see how these maggots seem to be able to smile and pose for pictures after abandoning the PR ship! That is why I always say that most politicians are nothing but pure scum. They will say anything and do anything to justify their actions no matter how vile and morally bankrupt their actions may be!
If the actions of these so called maggots sorry I mean now "independents" are despicable then the actions of the BN is equally despicable if not more. Just a few weeks ago, all the who is who in the BN had chastised and called the BN man in Perak who defected to PR to be nothing more than a "frustrated/desperate man". And how the tides have changed .... today all those who had abandoned the PR ship are being hailed as champions and to be genuinely concerned for the people by their vile actions. The very same people who had mouthed off severe criticisms against party hopping and defecting are the very same people who are singing the praises of those who do so now! Absolute poppycock.....! I am disgusted by the shenanigans of these politicians who call themselves to be the champions of the rakyat time and again.
Did you see the picture how the Deputy Prime Minister is seen smiling and laughing when posing for pictures with the now so called "independents" ? What else can I say ?
Disgusted today,
M V Nathan

Why are they not remanded ?

How so true !

I had not written anything on the controversy regarding the late Kugan's death previously. The late Kugan has been alleged to be a notorious car thief. He was also reported to have led the police to the recovery of some stolen vehicles. He is also alleged to be a member of a vicious gang. This is how the police including the lovable Home Minister a.k.a Mr ISA had described the late Kugan. The truth is we will now never know! We will never know if indeed Kugan was what he has been described to be. Anyway that is not the reason why I am writing this post. The reason I am writing this post is due to the fact that I am amazed how the investigation papers regarding Kugan's death has yet to be completed. The AG is reportedly not happy with the investigation papers that he has sent back the IP papers back to the police for more investigations. He is reported to have informed the police that "more detailed investigations are needed. The case has yet to be finalised".
I don't know about you, but this appears to be a quite straight forward case to be solved. The deceased was in the custody of the police in the police station. There were an ascertained number of policemen present during "investigations" of the deceased. Call them all in and get to the bottom of the matter. What else is missing ? Let's see now.....Any missing "assailants" ? Any possibility that Kugan left the station and got whacked by a possible rival gang? What does the post mortem report say ? I don't know about you but with due respect this case appears to be quite straight forward in solving.
In the meanwhile the policemen alleged to be involved in this case are all given cosy "desk job" functions until further notice, which I believe includes full pay. Mind you in this case the AG has already classified the case to be murder! If this is a possible murder case then why are the suspects in this murder case not remanded under S.117 of the CPC yet ? Why are these suspects then afforded the luxury of having "desk jobs" pending investigations ? Are they being treated differently because they happen to be policemen ?
I don't know about you but how can the police be in charge of investigations when they are said to be the alleged culprits in the first place ? Hmmmmm........
M V Nathan

Its pure madness

Eh........ ini macam pun bolehkah ?

I guess it takes desperate measures during desperate times. The BN stands accused of throwing lots of money around to entice and lure the elected members of PKR to defect or even to declare themselves "independent"! Speaking of independents I can never begin to understand how an elected member of Parliament/state assembly who was elected by the electorate on a party basis can now suddenly declare himself/herself an "independent"? How ah ? You work hard at begging ...sorry... I mean persuading people to vote for your party and then once elected you declare that you are an "independent"! Absolute poppycock I say! Maybe it is high time to make it illegal to become "independent" midstream. If you want to be "independent" then you ought to be an "independent" candidate from nomination day. All this nonsense of becoming "independent" after being elected on a party ticket is cheating the rakyat!
Speaking of elected members, the Elections commission in my books have clearly taken on a role that has not been provided for by law. There are these "independent" state assemblymen whose membership to the state assembly has now been questioned. The Perak State Speaker has declared the seats vacant and on the other hand the members say they have not resigned for the seats to be declared vacant. So how ? In my view the only recourse for the Elections Commission in the circumstances would be to refer the matter to the courts to be resolved. For the EC to declare the seats "not vacant" and the resignations to be "invalid" clearly implies that the EC has made a decision favouring one party. This in my view is never part of the scope, functions and duties of the EC. The EC must always maintain a neutral and independent stance at all times and it must always seen to be doing so. There are no two ways about it.
Anyway, did you hear/read about how the Deputy PM stands accused of offering RM50 million to persuade defections ? True or not I dont know. Whatever it is, I think this is an incredible accusation. Don't you think the police or the MACC ought to investigate the statutory declaration made by Fauzi Muda ? Will the DPM be called in for investigations and have his statements recorded ? Remanded maybe ? Nah....... no chancelah! That is only for the average Ali, Samy and Ah chong and not for sharks!
It has now been confirmed that there indeed was a meeting between the DPM and Fauzi. The former deputy defence minister had confirmed that such a meeting had indeed taken place. The only question that is disputed is whether money had been offered at the meeting. I don't know about you lah....but what is the DPM doing having meetings with PKR members ? Untuk apa ? Nothing to do is it ? Remember Saiful ? Didn't the DPM also say he also met this alleged "victim" of a S.377 penal code offence? Why ah ? So free are you Sir ? Anyway thank you for making time to meet the rakyat.
Cheers,
M V Nathan
