I say abolish ISA !

ABOLISH THE ISA (Internal Security Act 1960)

I say abolish the ISA. It is one very harsh piece of law. It denies the detainee the right of a fair trial. The ISA is barbaric and inhumane. It is should never be used against anyone. Period.

A client of mine has just been released from the ISA. Just got the news via the phone a few minutes ago. Today that client of mine is suicidal and is confined to a wheelchair. Yes the poor man is paralysed. He is in the prime of his youth and is today confined to a wheelchair.

He claims that he was brutally tortured, abused and even sodomised with a broom! All this he says were by the hands of the police! Yes the police. The people that were supposed to make all of us feel safe and secure, he says caused him to endure torture.
